Advantages and disadvantages of technology

In this material we will speak about technology. We will give some advantages and disadvantages and arguments to them. Technology is everywhere, in our houses, in our school, job. We must know what is good about it, and what is bad.

Lets start from advantages. The main good from technology is making our life easier. We can save our time and money, because we can travel faster with hybrid cars. We can communicate with other people from other side of world by mobile phones and Internet. What’s more we can learn faster and we can get more information. By the Internet we can find a lot of important information about many issues. Thanks to technology we can cure much more sickness than before, because we’ve got new medical technologies and researches. Technology can be used to recycle old materials and use them again, and thanks of that we can protect and care about natural environment.

Now I am going to talk about disadvantages. It’s not the secret that complicated machines are extremely expensive. Many poor people can’t use them. Factories are polluting our environment for a big scale. A lot of young people are addicted to computer games, Internet and they never go out without their mobile phones or other useless gadgets. Technology can be used against people and may annihilate a lot of lives.

            Summing up my thoughts technology is very important in our lives and most of us cannot live without it. Notwithstanding we must remember that it can be dangerous for us and our environment.
